Test Rides on “Someday”
DSC members enjoy afternoon sails to test-drive the new boat, Someday. Everyone agreed it’s a lovely sail! Since early August the Someday has been booked solid, everyone taking advantage of the perfect August weather to get out on the water.
DSC Gets a New Boat!
In early August, the Discovery Sailing Club purchased the “Someday” – a great 30′ Catalina. This vessel replaces the Light Spirit, which provided many fond memories for the club over the years.
Sunset Sail
DSC Members enjoyed a sunset sail in English Bay, taking advantage of the long days, just before the summer solstice. Light to moderate winds with perfect weather and great company.
