The lake behind Mt Seymour Elsay Lake, is an Alpine Lake, 20 minutes drive and 2 day hike from Vancouver. While it is popular because of the beauty and spirit in the mountain, you need 2 overnight hikes already to your credit before Elsay Lake.
1-3 Whistler Village & Mountain.;Take ski lift Gondola to the hiking on the top, Canoe in 2 lakes and connecting river, Walking trails around lost lake, swim or suntan on the large floating docks. Wander in the village with Hotels & Eating. Hiking several ancient trails from valleys to mountain top in the area.
1- 4 Pemberton / Lillooet / Fraser Canyon / Vancouver . A memorable drive on paved road through real mountains around back to Vancouver. It is on "the other road" across the coastal range. Camp or Motel. High mountain scenery , alpine lakes, back wood logging roads. Drive from the wet coastal hills over this range to the desert grasslands and down the mighty Fraser back through the farm lands to home. Check Indian art galleries on the way.
1- 2 Manning Park SITE : Camp in the park or room in the Lodge. Alpine hikes, fish and canoe on Lightning lakes.

4-5 Small wet boats, take our course on handling a fast single person boat and you will be ready to take it in the wind and ocean waves by yourself.
4 –5 3 person small boats learn to sail and stay dry with a buddy.
4 – 6 2 person flat Hobi-Cat 16 ft. Sailboat very fast takes skill a real thrill, but you get splashed.
4 – 6 Larger weekend boat Captin Ken, more comfortable and leisurely like slow and grand. Leaves from Granville Island near Kitsilano Point. Can be taken on a Harbour cruse or an all day or overnight voyage to some Islands.
All sailing trips can be capped by beers and Nachos on the deck @ the Galley Restaurant right above the club. Or order anything else. Or wander through Kitsilano for any style food Like Planet Vege.
